A healthy kidney diet plays a major role in the management of kidney problems and the prevention of kidney disease. Whether food is “kidney friendly” or not depends on how much – or little – of the following five items are in it: fluids, phosphorous, protein, potassium and sodium.
When you face problems of kidney, the excretion of water, salt and potassium are impaired. This slowing down of the process in this condition of the kidney causes the phosphorus content of the body to increase in the system, which in turn causes calcium depletion from bones. The specific condition leads to osteoporosis and decay of bones.
